• Purchase information: Records of in-app purchases and page balance top-ups. We do not store payment card details — payments are processed by Google Play.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version (mobile app only).

• To provide and improve the Service, including AI story generation.
• To manage your account, page balance, and purchase history.
• To display personalised advertisements via Google AdMob (mobile app only).
• To communicate with you about your account or the Service.

We use the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google Sign-In – for authentication. Google Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob – for serving advertisements in the mobile app. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show personalised ads.
• Google Play Billing – for processing in-app purchases.
• Anthropic Claude API – your story prompts are sent to Anthropic's API to generate story content. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising

The Story AI mobile app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data about your device and interests to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising by adjusting your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation).

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and story data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Stories you have shared publicly will be removed upon account deletion.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure storage of authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
